Hi, I am Alex Tong, a CPA Serving Dallas-Plano Tax Payers
I received both my Accounting and Engineering degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington in the 80s. I received my CPA certificate soon after graduation. I met my wife at the university, got married and am now a proud father and grandfather. I firmly believe that by participating in my professional community, I can enhance my technical skill, better serve my clients and foster education for younger professionals. I am a member of the Texas Society of CPAs, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, the American Institute of CPAs, the American Society of Tax Professionals, the National Association of Tax Professionals and the American Taxation Association.
I have always felt strongly about giving back to the community and the country which has given me so much. My family and I regularly contributed to civic, religious and charitable organizations such as the Humane Society of the United States, the Dallas Arboretum, Community Walks, the Clinton Bush Global Initiative, Drum Corps International, the Dallas Chinese Community Center, Plano City Parks, Catholic World, Bishop’s Catholic Ministers, EWTN, the Kimbell Art Museum, the Parkland Foundation, Texans for Scott O’Grady and Vietnam Veterans in America.
I started out my career as an Auditor with Blue Cross Blue Shield; I subsequently worked for many nationally and internationally recognized companies with ever increasing responsibilities. I worked at Methodist Hospital, John Peter Smith Hospital, Motorola, Siemens, TRW, Alcatel, and Fujitsu and was a lead contributor in several local high tech start-ups. I have also owned and operated several businesses in the Dallas community.
Through this extensive business background, I believe that I am in the best position possible to help address fellow business owners’ financial, accounting and tax issues.
The reason our firm provides such outstanding service to our clients is because of our dedication to three underlying principles of good business: professionalism, responsiveness, and quality. Through my father's business, I learned that by providing the best service possible at a reasonable price a business could achieve long-term client satisfaction.
